Fly tying classes available at Otley Prince Henry's Grammar School
Stephen, pictured left, is a qualified instructor and has been teaching fly tying for a number of years. The classes are always well attended and many people return year after year to improve their skills.

Stephen Cheetham, pictured top left, has been a passionate angler all his life and is also a qualified fly tying instructor, currently enjoying College lecturing to those who want to learn this "Angler's art", otherwise referred to as Fly Dressing.. All fly patterns featured in our North Country Spiders section are dressed by Steve who specialises in these traditional and respected flies.

Stephen is involved with the annual Broughton Show, near Skipton and is currently Chairman of the West Yorkshire Branch of the Salmon & Trout Association who run fishing competitions at the show.
Half of the proceeds raised go to the Fell Rescue Team and for the past few years Stephen has been involved in instruction, prize-giving and the general organisation of this popular "Fisherman's Row" event.
Stephen's wife, Christine, also takes part, dispensing tickets for the various competitions.

Stephen Cheetham is a qualified Salmon & Trout Association Instructor (GAIA) in the fine art of Fly Fishing and Fly Tying, or Fly Dressing as it is otherwise known. He is also involved in organising and running special casting instruction days in conjunction with the Salmon & Trout Association for beginners and improvers of all ages.
